busan: day 2

rising at a decent hour, we decided to go find a different motel, because we were told that the nightly rate would go up as the weekend approached. we found one looking directly over gwangalli bada for 45 bucks a night cash. the guy initially told us 50, but hyunjoo was smart and asked for a discount with cash and he agreed. nice one.

i thought about sean as we passed these silver balls on the street.

found the necessary daily beverage.

our new room is the bay windows and the one with the tape on it. huge bed, broken window, a/c, leaky tub, couldn't have asked for better.

this one's real good. it was taken just as you see it.

gwangalli beach from a raw fish restaurant we went to.

got to choose what fish we wanted from some tanks.

never really liked mussels, needless to say, didn't like these either. just give a little suck and it comes right in your mouth. ha. that's right, i said it.

the couple sitting behind us was complaining about how they thought the restaurant stole some of the fish while preparing. hyunjoo agreed.

the usual soup that you can get at the raw fish restaurants is made up of some vegetables and the remnants after the filleting, head included.

decided to walk down to this little amusement park. as you'll see, i soon was regretting it.

in the arcade were a couple large terrariums.

you might have guessed that is was the ferris wheel. after the fear experienced in yokohama, i knew better.

hyunjoo took all of the pictures from here i believe, because i was frozen stiff.

you can tell, right?

i know it's practically impossible to see what this, but it's a little buggy pulled by a giant walking teddy bear. no we didn't ride them, but it was one of the craziest things to watch.

i believe these people were just hanging out, i don't think there was any kind of show, because the water is to the right in this picture.

gwangalli beach again.

in one of these is where we had eaten the fish.

from the motel room.

the grand bridge.
