kyeongju: daeleungwon

we got up the next morning and had a delicious 쌈밥 (ssam-bap), meaning literally to wrap rice, breakfast.  afterward we headed to daeleungwon which is a huge ground covered in old burial mounds.
we were allowed entrance into this one, the heavenly horse tomb (read about it here).

this is the painted birch saddle depicting the eight legged flying horse.  this thing was really interesting to see.  my photo doesn't do it any justice and you can refer to the link above to see one only slightly better.

no photos of that, though there was one of like a virgin. but who wants to see stills? they want the video, which doesn't exist.
