3 weeks in asia: part 4.2

i woke up having chest pain again, but did as the doctor ordered and took a xanax a passed back out.  daniel ordered room service breakfast, which couldn't have been better given my state.  we caught another tuk tuk and headed toward ta prohm.

ta prohm is one of the locations that has not been restored to the extent of other temples in the angkor wat area.  it is still quite taken over by nature.  this place was the shit.

since arriving in the area the day before, the sound of these locusts could be heard everywhere.  the sound of hundreds, if not thousands, was so loud that it began to sound man made.  my ears were hurting just getting close enough to get a photo of this one.

we got our tuk tuk to get us back to the hospital for my check up and then we found somewhere to eat, twice.

we walked through some of the night markets in siem reap.  this photos is pretty damn bad, but these were fried tarantulas for your eating pleasure.  no thanks.
